One of our clients, a fast growing fund administrator, is heavily growing it’s Private Equity team. They are looking for a manager to Manage the accounting and reporting function for a number of PE clients.
This will also involve projects such as onboarding new clients and building the accounts, as well as implementing a monitoring system and a new operating model used in other jurisdictions.
This will be managing a team both in Luxembourg and also remotely and the team is likely to grow underneath this person in the next 1-2 years as well.
Responsibilities will include :
Onboarding clients and developing an ongoing relationship with current clients
Maintenance of client general ledgers
Oversee the preparation of financial statements
Reviewing board and legal documentations
Oversee the preparation and delivery of capital call and distribution notices to limited partners.
Working with sales team on client presentations
Review work of team
Manage a team in both Luxembourg and in India
This will involve very interesting opportunities such as :
Possibility to broaden exposure by working on investment accounting, fund administration, and client servicing
Working alongside other fund admin functions such as cash, corporate secretarial, legal and AML
Working with a global team to develop the growing PE functions
Increase the size of the team in the future
The ideal candidate will have :
Experience in Private Equity (5+ years in Luxembourg)
Experience as a manager
Accounting expertise (preferably an accounting qualification
Fluent English speaker
Knowledge of Lux GAAP and IFRS
