Purpose of the consultancy 1) Collect the information linked to facilities from current COO before end of March 2019.
2) Track remaining technical and contractual issues and find solutions or mitigation plan.
3) Manage buildings and infrastructure and ensure the technical management in close collaboration with LNS.
4) Transfer information to the new Facilities Manager.
Key accountabilities ü Consult the management, the Heads of Units, the Facilities Technician and relevant LNS staff over the following aspects : technical, installation, planning, execution and maintenance of the infrastructure.
ü Optimize the following activities : maintenance, follow-up / replacement of the infrastructure, repair work and modification of building infrastructure that are being used.
ü Ensure the proper functioning and the maintenance of technical and security installations, the respect of maintenance and regulatory control contracts as regards equipment and installations within her / his competence and do the maintenance bookkeeping for all those facilities.
ü Give technical advice on construction or conditioning plans on existing and new buildings (of which he / she will ensure the maintenance).
ü Ensure the technological monitoring.
ü Collaborate with the concerned institutions in order to ensure the maintenance of buildings in operation.
ü Ensure the completion of ongoing repair on the infrastructure and additional works critical for operations.
Requirements linked to the position · Knowledge of the technical aspect of the operation of laboratories and of national and European laws and standards on infrastructures and building.
Fluency in german language (written and oral)is essential.
