We are looking for an organized self-starter who excels at internal stakeholder management and external third party management to join the AMZL ACES On Road, Fleet Supply Chain team.

As EU Fleet Supply Chain Development Manager, you will work backwards from the Customer; introduce new ways to manage Amazon Logistics fleet, scale new programs quickly and with high quality, and deliver features / services and alternative sourcing models to drive continuous value to our Delivery Service Provider (DSP) partners.

This will require close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including Delivery Station, DSP management, Fleet Management Companies, Rental companies, suppliers, ops, finance, global fleet product and other business teams to bring strategies to fruition.

In partnership with Fleet planning teams (Fleet Demand, Fleet Supply, Fleet Deployment), you will also develop automated solutions for complex problems.

The successful candidate will communicate effectively across teams and levels, while balancing the needs and requirements of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Define, scope and partner with other teams to deliver key strategic initiatives for AMZL Fleet Supply Chain by working closely with operations, finance, PR&legal, marketing and other key stakeholders in the company
  • Write PR / FAQs, narratives (e.g., 6-pagers, 1-pagers), define business requirements, convey project status, and contribute to OP1 / OP2 product / tech roadmap prioritization, representing the Voice of the Business
  • Measure project success through Fleet performance metrics like idle, cost, utilization and DSP related metrics. Provide feedback, and hold team(s) accountable for their performance, disseminating project information to stakeholders and facilitate team reviews weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Create and implement process change initiatives leading to best-in-class customer and partner experience, collaborating with planning, scheduling, ops and carrier management teams to ensure a holistic approach.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus constraints.
