Our client is an important investment bank, looking for a temporary worker as an Operational Assistant who provides support to the Head of Unit and other colleagues in the team with the objective of contributing to the efficiency and performance of the team's overall activity

The candidate ensures the timely and correct execution of administrative procedures and the control of transactions. He monitors budget execution and takes appropriate follow up actions.

He closely follow up on the agenda of the EGF Contributors' Committee and the other relevant decision making bodies for EGF operations, flag any issues and support the Head of Unit and the team to monitor the flow of operations.

He organises the EGF Steering Committee and the preparatory meetings ahead of the EGF Contributors' Committee and other relevant decision making bodies.

He checks compliance with relevant legal documentation and procedures. He drafts and follow up on correspondence with counterparties.

He processes invoices, as required. He ensures that all input in the relevant IT systems is complete, consistent and meets quality standards.

He provides support to internal and external counterparties. He contributes to the further development of the budget process and of appropriate monitoring and reporting tools.

He assists with the setup, improvement and review of general procedures.

The ideal candidate has a secondary level education, complemented with a 2-year certification in a relevant field (e.g. secretarial studies, business administration, accounting, economics, legal) or secondary level education with equally qualified experience in a relevant field.

He has at least 5 years of relevant professional experience. He has knowledge of legal documentation and basic knowledge of accounting or finance.

He has a prior experience in archiving and document organisation (will be considered as an asset). He has excellent knowledge of standard MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

He has excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and a good command of French. Knowledge of other European languages would be an advantage.
