Amazon is looking for a talented, smart, and enthusiastic Senior Instock Manager to manage supply chain and selection for Amazon Private Brands business in Europe.

Private Brands is a long-term growth opportunity for Amazon. So far Amazon EU has implemented its brand AmazonBasics in several accessory categories.

As the Senior Instock Manager for the team, you will help us to continue expanding our private brand footprint. You will lead the planning and supply chain management for private brands and be help to bring the best selection available for our customers in EU -

meeting the needs of the business while protecting the integrity of the customer experience.

Main responsibilities include :

  • Selection management : Support global team in building comprehensive selection and managing new launches including innovating new product ideas, assessing market opportunities, forecasting annual demand, managing stock availability and coordinating teams across the business to bring the product to the customer -
  • overall ensuring the best possible customer experience

  • Supply chain management : Deliver maximum operational results for private brand products through effective end-to-end management of the supply chain.
  • Partner with global operations and transportation teams to improve product availability, reduce costs, and minimize our working capital investment.

  • Business intelligence and analytics : set goals and produce metrics used to manage selection; integrate strong and clear data analysis and business rationale into sound decision making;
  • work to improve data systems and develop new reporting tools to provide better business visibility; monitor and research industry and competitive trends to make the Amazon offering the best for the customer.

  • Communications : Be comfortable collaborating with, and influencing team members, working with country category teams and other business groups, and presenting projects to senior leadership on a regular basis.
  • The successful candidate will be an experienced team player who is motivated by an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.

    The position is based in Amazon EU Headquarters in the city of Luxembourg

  • Bachelor degree required
  • Proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast-paced
  • At least five years of experience in operations, inventory planning, demand forecasting, and / or product life cycles
  • Highly analytical, action and results oriented, self-starting, and comfortable with computer databases and tools
  • Good business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things do
  • Experience in either online, retail or e-commerce business a strong plus
  • Proven project management skills with coordination across multiple teams
  • University degree ideally in a technical or analytical discipline. MBA preferred
