In our vision to build a global marketplace, we will enable Sellers to list, make their selection available to customers globally while optimizing their inventory placement across multiple countries.
As Principal Product Manager, EU Marketplace- You will join a dynamic team which is at the forefront of this vision to build a global marketplace as you will be responsible for developing and delivering initiatives on the product roadmap to dramatically transform VAT registration and filing processes in any country where Amazon Sellers choose to sell and / or place their inventory thereby removing one of key barriers and friction points that Sellers face when deciding to go international.
The key responsibilities for this role include :
Own the roadmap, prioritization and user experience of the product portfolio. Define requirements, seller experience and metrics for the product line.
Initiate, define, plan and manage the roll out of the product features and enhancements for the product initiatives.
Represent the EU Product team to the WW teams and senior stakeholders.
Lead execution of the product with high-level of discipline and engagement with the technology teams and third party accountancy firms.
Define success for the rolled out solutions, assess open opportunities to further enhance Seller Experience and remove friction points.
Measure Improvements and impact of changes and set-up mechanisms to audit impact and perform necessary course corrections where needed to meet business objectives
Manage engagement with multiple stakeholders in US and EU including Tax, Legal, Operations, Tech, Seller Services and FBA.
8-10 years of relevant experience in project / product / program management / supply chain management
Demonstrable data-driven decision-making and strong quantitative analysis skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
Independent and Entrepreneurial showing the ability to work with minimal direction
MBA or advanced degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science or related areas from a leading business school
10+ years of product management experience
Prior experience managing technical products or online services
Advanced Knowledge of SQL and VBA or willingness to learn
Entrepreneurial spirit, with track record for delivering results in fast-moving and demanding environments
History of developing business strategy in conjunction with senior leadership
