The position of SQL Server Database Administrator located in Luxembourg is a part of the Global Database team with primary responsibility to install and support SQL Server and other database platforms like Oracle to ensure optimal performance, availability and efficiency.
In this position, the candidate will have the opportunity to implement best practices to achieve continuous improvement through configuration and SQL optimizations.
The candidate must have a basic knowledge of Oracle and / or Sybase and be willing to share work with fellow DBAs.
Experienced Database Administrator with 5+ years of SQL Administration
Strong understanding of SQL and other database technologies
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication
Experience supporting mission critical database systems
