Job summary Do you have the technical knowledge and practical experience of applying the principles of safe handling to address manual handling-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in the workplace?

We are looking for someone with the ability and experience to manage the manual handling training program across multiple business units (BUs) in Europe.

You will work with the safety and learning teams in each BU to identify the existing training being delivered, how it is delivered, the frequency and with what training materials.

In this role, you will be responsible for standardizing the program, and auditing its quality, effectiveness and impact and ensuring compliance with regulations across multiple countries The successful candidate will be able to develop and advise on delivery of manual handling training within multiple organizations across Amazon.

The successful candidate will be able to drive a strategic vision, play an integral role in determining strategy, resources, schedules, and processes, as well as coordinating and driving execution, mitigating risks, and communicating to senior management on status, risks, and process changes.

There will be a requirement for travel within your region (COVID-restrictions permitting). In this role, you will undertake a variety of tasks that include : Create a baseline of the current manual handling training being delivered in the different BUs to understand current state and exact details of each program Complete a gap analysis to identify any areas where training is missing, incomplete or in need of updating Work with all the stakeholders involved to create a collaboratively agreed training program that meets legal requirements and business needs Partner with Human Factors and Ergonomics (HFE) teams for approval on content, style, illustrations to align with corporate requirements Manage the training program with clearly defined metrics to ensure minimum requirements are understood and complied with Introduce an auditing mechanism for the program and how it is delivered to ensure consistently high standards and continued improvement Review the content on a regular basis, taking feedback from stakeholders and changing with the business Provide required metrics and updates for regular reporting;

share specific highlights and lowlights as applicable Stay current with the relevant legislation, guidance and research across the countries in Europe Basic Qualifications Knowledge and experience of delivering safe handling training in industry Experience of creating training materials and supporting resources for all levels of learner from basic through to advanced Experience of managing a training program across several sites / regions Knowledge of relevant EU manual handling legislation and guidance with a curious mindset to understand and communicate it to ensure compliance Ability to analyze metrics, identify trends, and produce reports that help drive continual improvement Program management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Strong team player with capability to work collaboratively and relatively independently, maintaining high standards of professional behaviour Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) with experience of delivering training Pro.
