Major Responsibilities
Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of Amazon’s historical business data to help automate and optimize key processes
Design, development and evaluation of highly innovative models for new packages and processes improvement
Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, model development, model validation and model implementation
Analyze and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context
Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis : data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
Model data and metadata to support ad-hoc and pre-built reporting
Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary datasets
S / he is a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail), and enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Bachelor degree required in Business, Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, Math or related discipline
3+ years of relevant experience in business analyst role, as well as experience in diving deep on data analysis and technical issues to come up with effective solutions
Excellent knowledge and Expertise with SQL, Linux, OLAP, and Relational, NoSQL & Multi-dimensional Databases, Big Data, complex datasets
Experience with Reporting Tools as QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI
Experience in using Python, R, SAS, Matlab, Spark, or other statistical software
Strong structured thinking and problem solving ability
Passion for sustainability
Proven ability at looking at solutions in unconventional ways. Sees opportunities to innovate and can lead the way
Top notch communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to convey key insights from complex analysis in summarized business terms and an ability to effectively communicate with technical teams
Experience in business environment with focus on product and process optimization
Experience with AWS features (S3, Redshift) is a plus
Experience handling large datasets
