ABOUT THE JOB l What will you do?

The Head of IT Infrastructure, Data Warehouse & Production leads the IT Infrastructure, Data Warehouse & Production team within the IT Services Department and will be responsible for the following activities :

  • Manage the Run the Bank’ activities
  • Lead team meetings, participate in steering committees and provide Information, dashboards and KPIs to different stakeholders
  • Liaise with various stakeholders to understand constraints and adapt activities accordingly
  • Establish a Can Do’ attitude and mind set, identifying opportunities rather than problems
  • Support and drive the Change the Bank’ activities
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders such as Architecture and Technology’, ISO, and Development & Test functions, but also second line of defence and PMO office for guidance related to your activities
  • Organise the team around a service-oriented mind set with quality and reliability as core values
  • Prepare the future of the department through active participation in the bank’s transformation programme
  • The Head of IT Operations role reports to the Chief Information Officer
  • ABOUT YOU l What’s your background?

  • University degree in computer science, information systems or similar, or relevant experience in a similar position
  • Previous experience in the banking sector or financial industry is advantageous
  • Broad and conceptual understanding of IT technology (client server architecture, backup mechanisms, database technology, archiving and scheduling systems, etc.)
  • Experience in transitioning from on premises’ to a consumption of service’ based model and the governance schemes required for successful implementation
  • Certified trainings in IT service management, lean management; knowledge and understanding of DEVOPS concepts
  • Ability to work together with architecture & Technology teams, but also development and test management, understanding constraints and identifying opportunities for positive change
  • Experience in transforming technology-focused IT staff to a service-oriented, processes and quality mind set
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment in terms of outsourcing and cloud requirements
