Credit Structurer h / f

Your mission :

CreditStructurers are key stakeholders of BEL Banque des Entreprises auLuxembourg , on whom the Bank can rely for their expertise and objectivity in corporate and SME financing structuring and analysis combining arisk awareness and a commercial approach .

They aretherefore responsible for :

Structuringcredit transaction with the RMs(Relationship Manager) and the clients and providing a critical contribution to inform credit decisions in credit committees :

Gatheringappropriate client / transaction information (annual reports, organization chart, web site info,broker notes, due diligence with RM ) to be able to properly structure,negotiate and present transactions, optimizing the return within the contextof the global relationship and taking into account the objectives of the bank

Structuringterm sheets (Facility, borrower,guarantor, lender, amount, maturity, pricing, financial covenants, security )with the RMs, the client and the Legal

Recap of theSWOT and risk mitigants anddetermines what information needs to be further collected to elaborate a creditoffer to the client

Attend clientmeetings conference call , which areprimarily focused on financial results - business plans financing discussions

Contributingto origination / pitch meetings jointly with the RMs and other business lines.

Delivering acomplete, synthetic and coherent up-to-date memo on the transaction , based on facts, compliant with bank’s guidelineswith the RMs and other parties involved.

Guarantee thequality of the financialspreadsheet / business plan, the counterparty, financial and sector analysis andpresent the transaction analysis.

Takingresponsibility for the overall data analysis reliability and coherence,including financial projections, when necessary.

CompletingCredit Proposals with the RM enabling Credit Committee to take an informeddecision :

CreditProposal writing is a collaborative and iterative process between CreditStructurer and RM’s

Leveraging onhis / her expertise, the Credit Structurer discusses transaction issues with theRM and various stakeholders within the bank.

Should fundamental disagreementsarise, the issue can be referred to the hierarchy for guidance throughpre-screening in due time

Other :

Disseminationof relevant information / alert to the appropriate audience in case of major event or material evolutionthat could impact portfolio credit quality - joint responsibility of allstakeholders (notably Relationship Manager, Credit Structurer, DelegationHolder and Risk).

Guaranteeingthe consistency of data under their own responsibility.

Contributeactively to the quality and integrity of client data, in particular data usedin the credit process for the assessment of a client’s risk parameters orcredit risk

Alert on anyidentified risk, including compliance issues.

Contribute toglobal portfolio reports when information is not directly available / reliable orif a qualitative input is needed.

Keep abreastof the changing methodologies and policies applicable.

Sharinginformation and developing intelligence notably on sectorial knowledge through :

Efficientdissemination of sectorial knowledge and industry intelligence.

Activeparticipation in BEL community (circulation of information, regular updatethrough interactions with EIS, other analysts and Risk).

Contribute tocontinuous improvement initiatives (team, processes ) with active participation indedicated workshops

Maintenanceof a low level of overdue files in coordination with the RMs

Potentialmanagement of a trainee / Junior

Your profile :

Education : business schools, university with a major in Finance or economics / or similar experience

Professional Experience : 3-5 years corporate creditanalysis

Duringthe finalization of the recruitment process, the preselected candidate will beasked to provide us an extract from his / her criminal record dated less than 3months (record N 3 for Luxembourg), according to the dispositions of the lawfrom July 23rd 2016 regarding the criminal record.
