Wunderman Thompson Commerce helps brands seeking to optimise their digital commerce operations across B2B and B2C channels.
That means developing strategies and implementing solutions for all channels, including D2C, own brand websites and social, online marketplaces like Amazon and Tmall, and retail and distributor channels like Walmart, Kroger and Tesco.
The Role : This is a 12-month maternity cover role. This role supports the local CEO and CFO for Wunderman Thompson Commerce in Luxembourg.
The role will work with the leadership, helping to develop and maintain first class finance function. The main objectives are to ensure timely and accurately financial reporting, insightful analysis, timely and relevant management information, manage accounting and SOX compliance.
Responsibilities : Working within the finance team comprising CFO, senior accountant, and part-time juniorIn charge of the Finance Reporting of Wunderman Commerce Luxembourg.
Ensure the reporting is in accordance WPP reporting policies and IFRSProduce regular management reports and presentations as well as ad hoc information and analysisIn charge of control environment and SOX compliance of the unitGreat financial controlCoaching of accountant teamGeneral systems improvement Skill set : Qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA or local equivalent), at least 4 years post-
qualification experienceExperience in controllership position in large international organisationProficient accounting experience in IFRS , management accounting and analytical review, system & processes reviewOther European languages will be an advantageAdvanced systems and particularly excel skillsExperience in audit, compliance, and SOXUse of a consolidation tool such as Cartesis / SAP BFCProven ability to form strong relationships.
