Financial Accountant (M / F) Who we’re looking for
The Financial Accountant will be part of the ContinentalEuropean Financial Controlling Team.
The successful candidate will bring knowledge in Financial / ManagementAccounting and manage the relationships with relevant counterparties in Europeand with the Head Office.

What you’ll do
Responsible for monthly, quarterlyand year-end closings
Responsible for the internalreporting to the headquarter in London and to the local offices
Responsible for key controls,reconciliations and adequate documentation
Responsible for tax compliance
Maintain and own the integrity offinancial records
Providing timely, accurate andbusiness relevant financial commentary and business decision support
Act as the liaison point for allthird-party matters (auditors, tax consultants etc.)
Proactively seek opportunities forprocess improvements
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
At least 2 years accounting,financial or auditing experience post qualification (degree in Accounting, Economicsor Finance)
Thorough knowledge of basicaccounting procedures and principles (Accounting qualifications (e.g. ACCA,ACA) would be an advantage)
Experience with general ledgerfunctions and month-end closure process
Excellent accounting software userand administration skills (e. g. ORACLE, SAP)
Good level of Excel knowledge
Fluent in English, any other Europeanlanguage skills would be an advantage (French, German or Italian)
Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills with excellent interpersonal skills
Focused on quality and timelydelivery
Demonstrating integrity andaccountability
Ability to work independently as wellas in a team
Well organised with hands-on problemsolving attitude
Ability to work in a matrix structure
Ability to work with a broad range ofpeople from different backgrounds / nationalities
Willing to travel occasionally

Experience in tax, good understandingof VAT matters
Strong analytical skills with highaffinity with numbers
Good business sense
