  • Modelling the hot blast flow and its reactions in the blast furnace process
  • Simulating the gas flow with the help of computational fluid dynamic using OpenFOAM
  • Creating relevant cases and comparing the results for different conditions and reporting the results
  • Supporting the process team concerning technological and process aspects.
  • What do we expect from you?

  • Engineering diploma with a specialization in Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant studies
  • Being familiar with fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer
  • High degree of initiative and responsibility and willingness to fully invest yourself in the assigned projects
  • Ability to work in a professional and independent manner and to quickly integrate yourself in a dynamic multinational and multicultural team
  • Fluent in English; German or / and French are considered as an asset.
  • If you are a team player with excellent communication, organisation, and critical thinking skills, if you can perform passionately while working independently, this could be the place for you!
