The Last Mile team within Amazon Logistics is looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to build partnerships supporting Amazon's logistics capabilities in Europe.

The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for negotiating key products and services that delivery companies use to manage their operations and deliver for Amazon.

You will develop the negotiating strategy and own the negotiations end-to-end. In order to be successful in this position, you need to be comfortable interfacing with C-Suite executives and driving multiple internal Amazon teams to achieve your goals.

A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines.

The candidate will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership, business development, procurement, negotiations, and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

Some of the key job functions of the Senior Business Development Manager are :

  • Leads and controls the negotiation and procurement of the assigned product. Possesses a broad operations and technical background, and has the ability to roll up their sleeves and jump in and drive resolution.
  • Is capable of taking accountability and driving planning, resolution and execution.
  • Responsible for delivering the key metrics program performance, program growth, on-time execution and launches
  • Experience working on negotiations with senior executives
  • Strong presentation, sales, and negotiation skills; ability to close high value and high profile deals
  • Strong ownership and bias for action; ability to internalize goals and work independently to create appropriate action plans for those goals
  • Strong analytical orientation; comfort using databases and analytical tools and making data-based decisions
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Product Management, Finance or Management Consulting
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Strong customer focus
  • A record of accomplishment in delivering results in a scrappy, fast-paced environment
  • A history of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
  • Experience in channel partner programs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
