We are seeking a motivated Officer to join our expanding Fund Setup team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and motivated professional to develop their financial career within a leading organization.
The Officer is responsible for the Fund Setup business area. The fund setup area is accountable for analyzing prospectus / offering memorandums and transposing this information into the Transfer Agency core system.
Expert technical knowledge of Transfer Agency functions and processes is required.
Demonstrates the ability to analyze a problem and obtain and evaluate information to reach sound conclusions. Knows when to elevate a problem and keeps management informed
Develop strategies to increase the group’s efficiency; minimizes risk of loss.
Ensure that procedures, policies and processes are adhered to so that a high quality service is delivered to our clients.
Drive procedural changes to improve performance in the department.
Ensure group’s efficiency by using best practice techniques. Reviews and enhances work processes and procedures. Participates on committees to design / respond to operation changes.
Promote risk awareness, assessment and control within the department.
Manage rollout of services to new funds and ensure the smooth transition into Transfer Agency operating teams.
Foster and develop close working relationships with other departments and locations to ensure that Fund Setup issues are appropriately addressed.
Focus on development opportunities for your direct reports and ensure a focus on non-operational management within the business area
Four years University degree in Business Administration or Finance, or equivalent professional qualification
At least 8 years of Transfer Agency or Financial Services experience
Operation management experience (at least 3 years in a management position)
Good knowledge of Fund Industry and Financial Markets in general
Knowledgeable in Luxembourg regulatory environment and good understanding of Luxembourg fund legal structure
Advanced Computer Skills (Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Internet)
Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills
Fluent in English (written and oral)
Have a proactive and focused attitude to work and an ability to constantly meet deadlines
Have excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills
Show strong teamwork, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills as well as excellent leadership and motivational skills, dependability and flexibility
Experience of working within a high pressure environment with experience of meeting multiple deadlines
