Can you lead large cross-functional teams to launch regulated hazardous materials storage compliance projects and initiatives?

Are you comfortable digging into business requirements and collaborating with business and technical teams to launch new capabilities improving the customer experience?

Do you have experience launching new initiatives with high-level stakeholders? We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to plan and execute large-scale global programs across Amazon teams as part of the EMEA PARS Compliance team located in our EU headquarters in Luxembourg.

This role requires working with different business owners across organizations to define the strategy, requirements, and timelines as well as lead different cross-functional teams.

This position involves regular communication with the senior management team on roadmaps, program updates, risks, and change management.

The person in this role is a subject matter expert in the storage of regulated hazardous materials.

Key job responsibilities

  • Identify and lead complex regulated hazardous materials storage improvement projects to drive towards a best in class regulated hazardous materials compliance program.
  • Ensure regulatory requirements are met for existing and new products / processes by understanding product attributes to drive intended storage actions.
  • Provide end-to-end regulated hazardous materials storage compliance project management support and guidance for complex business projects and initiatives.
  • Work cross functionally with our risk management, real estate, engineering, business and software teams to ensure regulated hazardous materials storage compliance requirements are known and projects are carried out to delivery.
  • Identify regulatory risks in new products and services and provide guidance for risk mitigations.
  • Interpret new or changing regulations related to hazardous materials storage, construction codes, segregation of materials, drainage and containment, fire protection, ventilation, and electrical requirements to determine how it applies to business operations.
  • Support new business initiatives to ensure regulated hazardous materials storage compliance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with retail, FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) and fulfillment center partners to capture and remediate concerns.
