Your tasks Be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems, to ensure the operational readiness (security, health and performance) of our corporate applications Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems Work closely together with our operations departments to support their business Apply data modeling techniques to ensure that development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement as well as provide suggestions for solutions Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other colleagues and team members Your profile Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related field Several years of experience in MS SQL Server Administration is a requirement Experience with backups, restores and recovery models Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools Knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery options for SQL Server Experience in working with Windows server, including Active Directory Knowledge of TSQL, C#, VS, .

NET programming, SSRS, SSIS, etc. MCTS, MCITP, and / or MVP certifications are considered as an asset Open-minded and curious about other technologies e.
