Relationship Manager - Financial Institutions (m / f)
The Wholesale Banking department is responsible for managing and developing relationships with corporate clients by providing financial solutions from the full range of services offered by ING Group.
Job description :
As a Relationship Manager Financial Institutions, you are responsible for quality and depth of client relationships and overall financial performance of FI clients in the assigned client portfolio, including :
Acting as the first point of contact for the client and relevant internal stakeholders across products and network countries
Developing strategic client account plans considering client needs, business potential and appropriate risk allocation
Being responsible for the credit quality, KYC validity and other regulatory requirements of the portfolio
Marketing the full range of ING’s products to act as the Bank’s representative to clients up to Board Level
Originating, leading, negotiating and closing new transactions in close cooperation with the relevant product specialists
Identifying new opportunities, acquiring new business opportunities with prospect clients in accordance with the bank’s growth strategy and risk appetite
Developing and coordinating knowledge sharing, fostering a culture of collaboration, client focus, continuous improvement and innovation within the team
Your profile :
Competencies / Behavior :
Deep knowledge of Financial Institutions, including funds and custody activity
Ability to analyze and summarize, sense of responsibility, flexibility, autonomy, commitment and team spirit.
Experience :
Minimum 4 years of higher education with an economic, legal or tax orientation
Minimum of 6 years of banking experience at a relevant position
Languages :
Fluency in French and English. Knowledge of other languages, in particular Dutch and German will be considered an asset
