Overallpurpose of role
The role offers the opportunity to playa critical finance support role across all aspects of Financial Control for anew corporate banking business startup in our Luxembourg Branch.
The candidate must have a strong accountingbackground with a focus will be on driving change and executing improvements tomeet and manage stakeholder needs.
We expect a high level of accountability, ownership and thefollowing tasks to be fulfilled :
IFRS month end / quarterend reporting
Meetings with stakeholdersto explain cost / income analysis, balance movements
IFRS Finrep-analysisand submission (quarterly)
Intercompanyreconciliations, eliminations database, Asset at Risk, Key Risk Indicators
Analysis and reportsfor internal and external audits, reviews for SOX and other committees
Retained earningsreconciliation, Cash booking
Project work (SAP andRegulatory reporting system enhancements)
Regulatory Reportingto CBI and to CSSF (as required)
Central Bankstatistical reporting
RWA / Basel I+IIreporting
Accounting : Travel& Entertainment claims, invoice booking / payment
Stakeholder Managementand Leadership
The role is primarily focused on providing analysis and insight onthe key performance metrics and supporting on the delivery of the Strategy& Planning agenda.
This encompasses providing value add services to keystakeholders, ensuring accurate insightful key financial metrics which enablesan understanding of emerging performance trends and risks & opportunities.
Be able to manage deliverables, strong stakeholder engagement model essentialto the role in order to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders.

The job requires independent working, working in a team in Luxembourg,owning processes and taking decisions, evaluative judgement and analyticalskills.
The candidate should be able to analyse complexity of problemsindependently and the impact the role has on developing or enhancing existingsystems or processes.
The candidate should undertake reviews, be able to managedeliverables and stakeholder relationships across the firm.
The candidate should be a qualified accountant, min. 3-5 yearsworking in Controlling and Financial Reporting area
SAP and Excelknowledge
English languagefluent speaking (French language would be advantageous)
Flexible usage ofvarious software / system packages
Good analyticalskills, good understanding of the business month end processes
Able to work in achallenging environment
Knowledge ofaccounting policies, controls and procedures
Experienced inbanking industry
