Job description : The successful candidate will act as single point of contact for all Operational Risk Management tasks for the Luxembourg office.
Technical Responsibilities : Responsible for running the Risk & Control Self-Assessments. Partnering with the business to identify key risks and controls.
Responsible for producing all relevant risk management reports. Responsible for managing the Incident Log Process Assist the business with setting Risk Appetite and Tolerance levels.
provide leadership and act as risk lead in all projects. Stakeholder Engagement : Build strong working relationships with local and international stakeholders.
Attend board meetings, and forums functioning as risk representative. Responsible for running thematic reviews, delivering assurance to the firms executive committees over the management of key risks.
Required profile : Will have significant and demonstrated experience working on Operational Risk Frameworks within an Asset Management context (ideally) or within the financial services sector.
Ideally looking for candidates with private equity or real estate experience / Asset Management experience is highly desirable - previous knowledge and exposure to funds.
Would look at candidates coming from an Internal Audit background - who have significant understanding of working in a control environment.
Candidate must have a demonstrated track record of designing, improving and developing operational risk frameworks. Candidate must have a demonstrated track record of building strong relationships with colleagues across all levels of seniority.
