Our client is a global leader in the industry of systems and components for drug and vaccine manufacturing and other biotech applications.
Currently they’re currently looking to recruit their HR Manager (m / f) to be based in Luxembourg.
Responsibilities
To provide expert advice, guidance and support on people related matters for all European employees. There are 4 European companies based in the UK, Luxembourg and Germany.
The selected candidate will work with the Directors and other senior employees to support a high-performance culture with a focus on resourcing and employee management / engagement.
A more detailed understanding of Luxembourg labour laws is required.
Take the lead on all European recruitment activity including liaising with recruitment agents, candidates, setting up interviews and managing all recruitment administration
Preparation of employment contracts, addendum to the employment contract, any HR legal documentation. This may include liaising with lawyers in various countries
Responsible for the liaison with the European Payroll providers to ensure employee information supplied for payroll purposes is accurate and complies with regulatory requirements
Provide robust HR leadership and guidance to Directors and senior employees across Europe, acting as a trusted advisor on all people related issues
Lead and take full accountability for delivery of ad-hoc people related projects
Facilitate the salary and bonus review and supporting business executives in relation to their recommendations
To take the lead in the development and implementation of HR policies / procedures / templates across Europe
General assistance to the Global HR team in the USA
Introduction of an appropriate performance management platform which should consider both the manufacturing and sales team organisations

Profile
At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar role within a corporate environment
Experience and knowledge of payroll providers
Proven record in providing good HR support and advice
Exposure to Luxembourg labour law, local legislation and social rules e.g. Staff Delegation, Works Council, Unions
Confident and organised, with an ability to work with external service providers and professionals
Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken is mandatory
Excellent organizational skills with attention to details
Excellent communication skills and service minded
Experience in GDPR with a particular focus on the HR environment
Proven experience with budgeting and forecasting
Experience in a rapid growth environment preferred
