Your working environment The research department LIST's Environmental Research and Innovation (ERIN) research department comprises more than 180 life, environmental and IT scientists and engineers across four research units.
These units bring together the necessary interdisciplinary knowledge and skills to tackle the major environmental challenges our society is facing today, including climate change mitigation, ecosystem resilience, sustainable energy systems, efficient use of renewable resources, and environmental pollution prevention and control.
Context The successful candidate will join the Environmental Research and Innovation (ERIN) department.
With a team of more than 180 scientists and engineers in life science, environmental science and IT science, the ERIN department tackles the major environmental challenges our society is facing today : climate change mitigation, ecosystem resilience, sustainable energy systems, efficient use of renewable resources, and environmental pollution prevention and control.
We open this position to replace a maternity leave, potentially followed with a parental leave.
The successful candidate will act as an assistant to the ERIN direction, and work in close collaboration with the management team and staff to support various daily operational management tasks.
Description The successful applicant’s main tasks and responsibilities are the following : Assistance to the ERIN department direction : Keep a permanent watch on Innovation events taking place in the Greater Region Deploy and maintain ERIN’s contact database Organise and follow-
up internal meetings Prepare meeting minutes Assistance for business development / partnership activities : Organise appointments and meetings with external partners Follow-
up business opportunities and support of the Partnership team ERIN contact point for internal and external communication to : Facilitate collection and preparation of input material for internal and external communication Contribute to the content of the website Coordinate promotional activities (Showroom activities) Organise and promote ERIN seminars and conferences in collaboration with the corporate communication service Organise the participation of ERIN fairs in collaboration with the corporate communication service Profile Education Diploma (minimum Bac+2) in secretarial studies / administration, communication or similar Required seniority 2 years experience in a similar function Competencies Good knowledge of common Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Lotus Notes, survey software (eg : Lime Survey), search engines Organised, capable to manage own time and priorities To like to work in a lively and multicultural environment To be service-
