Reports to Depositary Manager
The purpose of this position is to carry out routine day-to-day functions of the Aztec Luxembourg depositary services offering.
Key responsibilities :
Establish and refine operating procedures relating to the depositary services offering
Assume responsibility for monitoring all cash flows passing through the fund platform and, in particular, ensure that all monies received for the subscription and redemption of units or shares and the acquisition and disposal of fund assets is properly bookkept
Assume responsibility for the safe-keeping of fund assets, whether through custody or more general verification of ownership
Oversee the proper operation of the fund platform, implementing a number of ex post controls and checks to achieve this
In conjunction with the Head of Depositary Services, ensure that the depositary services department complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
Act as a higher authority on day-to-day queries
Skills, knowledge, expertise :
The candidate will have completed a relevant professional qualification (preferably ACCA or ACA)
Sound technical knowledge (to be supported through the Aztec Academy and bespoke on the job training)
Computer literacy, word processing and spread sheet skills are essential
Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts
An eye for detail and good degree of initiative with an ability to provide commercial, risk sensitive solutions for clients
