In this role, you will take ownership of relationships with LSPs serving customer’s business and ensure LSPs are properly on-boarded into agreed operational process between Kuehne + Nagel Integrated Logistics and the customer (including connectivity between LSP and Kuehne + Nagel Integrated Logistics for transport instruction provision and / or for shipment status provision).
You will also be responsible of securing the adherence of LSPs to agreed SOPs and LSP operational performance in line with the agreed KPI targets.
Value creation for customer based on transport market knowledge / expertise / experience, as well as through efficient management of / collaboration with LSPs;
Developing digital agenda with LSPs in terms of automation of operational process and real-time availability of shipment status information;
LSP operational performance management (performance diagnostics, performance improvement, severe issue management) BCP, preventive actions, emergency management;
Value creation for customer in the areas of freight procurement (transport RFQ) support and transport market intelligence update;
Escalations Management (from customer, Kuehne + Nagel Integrated Logistics Business Manager, Operations);
Data quality issues resolution with LSPs
Your Skills and Experiences
Experience in Forwarding and / or Logistics Operations (min. 5 years);
Proven experience in road transport, especially road Germany
Proven experience in supply chain optimization and operational performance improvement;
Proven experience in risk management and emergency handling;
Performance Management Technique;
Operational drive and proactivity, ability to anticipate and prevent issues;
Stress resistant and a team player with a structured mindset;
Fluent in English and German (written and verbal).
