Amazon EU is looking for a talented Senior Product Manager responsible for supporting our EU Export business. You will be responsible for driving and facilitating cross-
functional development activities, projects and process improvements. The role will provide the opportunity develop top class experience in improving international customer experience.
Amazon EU is undertaking a multi-year effort to enhance the pan-European customer experience. The aim is to make all products in a given country available for sale on all of Amazon’s European websites in the language and currency of the customer’s choice.
As Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving several projects that are part of this multi-year vision.
In cooperation with our technical teams, define and improve the international customer experience for customers in EU countries that are currently not served by a dedicated website.
Work with our seller services team to enable better cross-border seller experience.
Support the EU Exports team in improving the delivery experience for our export customers.
Support the EU Exports team in increasing Amazon’s selection available to export customers by (i) challenging local business teams to relieve export restrictions, (ii) executing audits regarding shipping, ship fees and delivery promises to customers, and (iii) fixing deficiencies in any of these areas.
Continuously work to improve the shopping experience for our international customers through customer service improvement initiatives.
Participate in day-to-day operational aspects of the EU exports business, including suggesting and executing business improvement initiatives, and gathering and addressing customer feedback.
Build metrics reports to monitor EU exports performance.
The position is based in Amazon’s EU Headquarters in the city of Luxembourg. The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is a diverse and multicultural country located in the heart of Europe, bordered by France, Belgium and Germany.
This role will part of the Luxembourg retail team and will report to the Senior Manager, EU Exports. The successful candidate will be an analytically driven team player who is motivated by an entrepreneurial, fast-
paced and highly collaborative environment.
4-10 years of work experience, of which at least 2 years’ experience analyzing and improving the performance of a business
Exceptional analytical skills with a great attention to detail
Intense customer focus
Hands-on, results-oriented mentality, combined with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong computer skills (e.g. Excel, Access, SQL) and the willingness to develop those further.
Enjoys working in international cross-functional teams
Strong communication skills and able to conduct business in English
Experience in online retailing
Language skills in other European languages are a plus
