The Risk Offi cer assists the Risk Mana ger in the trans la tion of the com pa ny's and Baloise Grou p's risk appe tite and risk poli cies into the daily busi ness for Bâloise Assu rances Luxem bourg S.

Under the res pon si bi lity of the Risk Mana ger, he or she ensures the effec tive ope ra tion of the risk mana ge ment sys tem, exe cu ting the risk and gover nance pro gram and main tai ning an orga ni za tion-

wide and aggre ga ted view on the com pa ny's risk pro file. The Risk Offi cer will be in charge of the fol lo wing tasks :

  • ICS Offi cer :
  • Admi nis tra tion of the com pa ny's inter nal control sys tem in the sys tem B-Wise Iden tify pro cess / risk / control weak nesses and fol low issues and asso cia ted actions, where requi red.
  • Ensure that all control assess ments are car ried out with high qua lity and on time Assess the needs of extra pro cess des crip tions and risk / controls Report iden ti fied defi cien cies directly to the CFO and Com pany Board Admi nis tra tion of the loss data base

  • Co-ordi nate the col lec tion and upda ting of key risk indi ca tors across the busi ness
  • Policy main te nance : Pro vide assis tance to in deve lo ping and upda ting poli cies
  • ALCO RICO (Asset Lia bi lity Com mit tee / Risk Com mit tee) : Assist the Risk mana ger in the pre pa ra tion of the agenda, col lec ting and pre pa ring the sup por ting docu men ta tion and wri ting the minutes
  • Sup port the com pa ny's Sol vency II repor ting pro cess, namely ORSA, SFCR & RSR, QRTs
  • Col la bo rate with actua rial team for the rein su rance repor ting tasks and dash board updates
  • Create, main tain and deve lop posi tive wor king rela tion ships with all sta ke hol ders, inter nal and exter nal, to sup port the achie ve ment of key out comes
  • Create and main tain level of risk awa re ness at senior level and across the entire com pany
  • Ce que nous atten dons

  • Must pos sess at mini mum a bache lor’s degree in Busi ness Admi nis tra tion, Finance or equi va lent
  • First expe rience in Risk, Audit or Sol vency II imple men ta tion team within an insu rance com pany or a consul tancy and / or in a gover nance dri ven domain
  • High degree of inde pen dence, good repor ting skills, accu rate wor king is a natu ral skill
  • Affi nity with finan cial mar kets and insu rance concepts
  • Lan guage skills : Fluent French and English skills are neces sary in the day to day inter ac tion with col leagues. Ger man is consi de red a plus in the com mu ni ca tion with Head Office
  • Strong orga ni za tio nal skills with the abi lity to manage mul tiple pro jects simul ta neously
  • Expe rience in wri ting inter nal poli cies, docu men ting pro cesses, risk and controls
  • Strong ana ly ti cal skills. Detail orien ted and abi lity to inter pret figures and other finan cial infor ma tion
  • Capable of wor king under pres sure in a fast-paced envi ron ment
  • Team player, flexible, abi lity to work with a variety of per so na li ties
  • Excellent com mu ni ca tion and pre sen ta tion skills
