The University of Luxembourg is seeking to recruit a Senior Specialist for Alumni Relations to develop the alumni activities within the institution.
The position reports to the Rector, and works closely with the vice-rectors responsible for academic affairs and doctoral education.
A close collaboration is expected with other entities of the University, including central services, faculties and interdisciplinary centres for the coordination of activities at all levels.
Review the needs assessment and propose a strategy for alumni relations in alignment with the University’s strategic goals.
Review, follow up and evaluate relevant implementation plans Prepare regular reporting for University’s stakeholders on progress of alumni relations.
maintain regular communication with alumni via direct contact, email campaigns, alumni web pages, and print publications Coordinate with central, faculty and centre communications the planning of alumni communications and publicity Raise awareness among students about alumni benefits and engage them in programmes Collaborate with and encourage student associations to advocate the strengthening of alumni relations Encourage student volunteerism and motivate students to engage in alumni projects Foster good relationships with University’s constituencies (e.
g. alumni experts in faculties and interdisciplinary centres, student services, study directors, etc.) to increase alumni engagement Requirements A university degree Experience in University relations (e.
g. Alumni, Erasmus, Oceans, International Student Networks) with demonstrated accomplishment in fostering productive relationships Demonstrated experience in managing CRM tools or community platforms Excellent command of English and French.
