For one of our client, a European Institution, we are looking for a : (Junior) Officer-Funded and Unfunded Products (M / F) Operating Network : The (Junior) Officer will be supporting the Head of Division, Heads of Unit and work together with other Division staff members on debt-
related matters and in the treatment of the debt transaction portfolios, as required.
S / he will also engage in liaising with other internal services as well as with stakeholders in order to maintain the viable and successful collaboration with the internal services and external counterparts.
Perform day-to-day activities covering the division’s debt-related responsibilities;
Actively participate in the development of the enlarged role of the Division related to post-signature activities.
This role comprises the active management of the post-signature relationship with customers, the appropriate follow-up of monitoring activities, the management of waivers and amendments, the in-
depth analysis and knowledge of deals under responsibility in view of an active portfolio management, etc.;
Contribute to all relevant tasks in view of improving efficient approaches to the management of debt portfolios.
This activity encompasses an accurate application of relevant procedures, including the newly established enhanced monitoring, and participating in the implementation of specific projects aiming for efficiency increase;
Interact with internal and external counterparts on questions related to debt transactions and relevant portfolios.
University degree preferably at postgraduate level, in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or other related subjects.
A minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in loans and funding administration, risk management, middle or front office;
Prior experience would be an advantage;
Exposure to loan guarantees, securitisation, structured financial products;
Excellent command of English, both written and oral.
Knowledge of other European Union languages would be an advantage.
