Greenfield is pleased to have been mandated to work on a search for a Fund controller. Our client is a leading player in private debt.

The firm is opening an office in Luxembourg and currently growing the very small existing team. The purpose of the office is to ensure that funds operate in an efficient and controlled way to maximize Investor return while following up on compliance with fund documents, wider regulation and industry best practices in Corporate Governance.

You will be expected to work on Investment Holding Companies for all accounting matters and fund administration in close collaboration with other operations teams as well as the board of directors.

The role :

Work on the annual preparation of the General Partner and Investment Holding Sarl accounts for their review and overseeing.

Oversee and review the annual reports with the eCDF filings.

Arrange payment of Directors’ fees including withholding declaration forms.

Ensure the administrators are doing the BCL filings on time.

Establishing new fund vehicles with the assistance of Lawyers and notaries.

Assist the Third Party AIFM with any questions and processes.

Co-ordinate and oversee the Company Secretarial services that the administrator provides to the Funds.

Provide main point of liaison for the Independent Directors.

The profile :

Fluency in English is a must.

Experience of a minimum 3 years in Luxembourg in accounting / Fund administration with good knowledge of Lux Gaap.

Ability to respect obligations to internal and external clients and investors.

Knowledge and understanding of Luxembourg tax and corporate governance
