PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULTS AREAS
Monitor health status and provide on-call support for satellites in operation, including recovery and follow-up of eventual spacecraft off-limit conditions, anomalies and service interruptions
Ensure Customer satisfaction and maximize satellite fleet availability and longevity
Support procedure development of payload mission of the current and upcoming satellites. Ensure lessons learned are applied.
Specify, develop and maintain applications and tools required for dynamic payload operations in a modern environment
Implement satellite reconfigurations with a focus on satellite safety and Customer satisfaction
Plan, coordinate, perform and evaluate payload RF testing as required
Provide engineering support for the satellite requirement definition, proposal evaluation and negotiation, design analysis and all other satellite procurement related duty of SES spacecraft.
Develop system level operational concept used as reference to define development
Perform required engineering analysis, modelling and parameters modifications to optimise satellite performances or adapt them to new business needs
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (master’s degree preferred), with a specialization in Radio Frequency telecommunications.
Prior professional experience in a similar assignment is an asset
Fluency in English (any other language being an asset)
Knowledge in cloud environment is an asset
Be able to provide 24 / 7 on-call support, react to contingencies and cope with high stress situations
Ability to generate, review and validate reliable operating procedures and instructions
Ability to adapt to fast-paced or custom situations with innovative and effective solutions
Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff
Have strong communication skills, both written and oral, and team-spirit
Be willing to integrate into an international environment
