Own, maintain and optimise the delivery of Calastone’s asset manager product. Define and deliver the new of features for the product in line with the product strategy, working collectively with your colleagues in the Product and technology teams, understanding their ideas and insights for product design and delivery as well as with key clients where required.
Assessing appetite for new features at an early stage, evaluating business viability at all stages and allowing these to be challenged and enriched in the product governance process, you will focus on delivering value-add features to your robust product set.
Quality and compliance are critical for the product set and you, with assistance from the wider team, will ensure that the highest standards are maintained for the products under your ownership especially when introducing new features.
Taking part in the day-to-day development of the new features for your products, you will coordinate with the Engineering team to ensure they are aware of why , you are aiming to deliver what you are delivering and when you are delivering it they will be in charge of how it is delivered - and you will build the mutual assurance between these key teams.
Understand the overall new feature set for your product against the vision set by the Product Manager and Head of Product and in-line with our company strategy
Plan and priorities the product feature backlog, working closely with the Product Manager to ensure alignment
Work closely with the Business Analysis team to translate and articulate product requirements into acceptable increments to be delivered by technology
Collaborate with your development partners within Product, Technology (PMO, Engineering) and the teams in Client Delivery and Operations to lead delivery, adoption and success of your Products
Accept each product increment during the Agile sprint process
Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for your products representing Calastone at industry events when required
Work with the Product Manager to provide a dashboard of your products to the Product Steering Committee, with attendees from the senior leadership team (C-level leaders) to ensure speedy and transparent decision making enabling efficient development and enhancement of the Product portfolio
Support Client meetings, investigating client needs and establishing views on new features for your products to meet them
Keep up to date on industry best practices and input into the regular Agile steering committee
