PROJECT MANAGER
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE :
The Project Manager will be responsible for the management, coordination and implementation of all projects on a company wide basis.
The Project Manager will need to be able to perform both high level work and detailed work ( business analysis) depending on the requirements of each project and will :
Define together with the IT Committee the prioritization for the different projects within the Target Operating Model Program
Work on capacity and resource planning with the different departments
Ensure projects are implemented at a high level of quality and according to the agreed time-line and budget.
Provide regular updates when required to the Excom, Board and any other relevant committees
Management of other business projects from initiation to closure
Be accountable for project results along with project sponsors
Work with project sponsor and stakeholders to define scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing
Complete work breakdown structure to estimate efforts required for each task
Provide a project plan to identify when each task will be performed
Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders
Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request forms
Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to sponsor and Excom
Lead, coach and motivate project team members on a proactive basis
Ensure project closure and handover (including lessons learned etc.)
Scope, manage and deliver projects with disciplined execution
Develop functional specification documentation, review and validate specifications and processes with Business users and communicate results of analysis to external development teams
Prepare the necessary documentation, functional and business requirement documents and requirements traceability matrices
Manage testing scripts and provide support to testing and development teams
Documentation of RFP and organisation of full evaluation processes
As well as ad-hoc work when required.
CANDIDATE PROFILE :
University degree, preferably in business or related field
Over five years of relevant professional experience (strong Project Management skills and process oriented)
Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince2, ) will be considered as an advantage
Knowledge and understanding of IT processes and framework would be considered as an advantage
Perfectly fluent in English
Good communication and presentation skills required
Strong team player
Rigorous and methodical but also able to think out the box
Proactive attitude
Excellent Excel and Power Point skills
Knowledge of a Project Management Software ( Microsoft Project) will be an advantage
Ability to adapt to changes in priority and quickly determine the necessary adjustments in process and plans
Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
