Pictet has been present in Luxembourg since 1989, where it employs over 600 people.Reporting to the Head of HR Solutions and Rewards in Luxembourg, you will be part of a team responsible for various HR elements (such as Rewards, HR Operations / Solutions including Payroll, HR Data Analytics, HR Regulatory and HR Legal).

The team also acts for the European entities in Luxembourg and their branches.

Your role Scope : Luxembourgish entities (4) and their European branches (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Monaco and Spain) either partially or fully.

  • Payroll preparation and processing :
  • Collecting monthly payroll elements and instructing external providers.
  • Checking the consistency of hours of presence / absence of Luxembourg employees to prepare payroll information.
  • Checking and monitoring calculations and payslips.
  • Acting as level 2 support for our HR Service Centre to deal with employees’ questions about payroll, benefits, benefits in kind and compensation.
  • Serving as the point of contact with our Finance Department for checking and reconciling accounts to prepare the accounting for salaries.
  • Managing data control and ensuring that compulsory declarations are made to various external bodies (social security, taxes, etc.
  • in Luxembourg and other EU countries.

  • Liaising, interacting and maintaining relationships with external providers.
  • Administration of Compensation and Benefits :
  • Implementation and administration of pensions, health insurance, leasing, other lifestyle benefits and various non-periodic payroll elements within Europe.
  • Implementation and administration of our international mobility programme assignments and international transfers within Europe.
  • Your profile - Bachelor’s degree (in Human Resources, Business Administration or Finance) with at least five years’ work experience in a fiduciary or similar function in the banking sector.

  • Good understanding and knowledge of the Luxembourg and EU legal landscape for financial services.
  • In-depth knowledge of the environment relating to salary calculation, taxes, social security, collective bargaining agreements in Luxembourg.
  • Knowledge of other EU countries would be a major plus (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Monaco and Spain).

  • Experience of administering international transfers and international mobility would be a plus.
  • Experience of working on a payroll outsourcing project would be a plus.
  • Good knowledge of accounting and financial reconciliation.
  • Solid grasp of and experience with HRIS software such as SAP and payroll software.
  • Good MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in French and a good command of English.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Good organisational skills for managing records and data and able to meet deadlines.
