The EU ATS Product Management Team supports all middle mile and line haul transportation and logistics services, including : planning, scheduling, carrier and capacity management, and strategic transportation programs and projects.
This is an innovative technology-driven team and is a part of the Amazon Transportation Services organization in Europe, which is a cutting-
edge supply chain technology organization and responsible for many of Amazon’s best-in-class logistics offerings.
We are looking for a Luxembourg based Senior Product Manager for the Amazon Transportation Services Product Management Team.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be the product owner responsible for defining and implementing the product vision and functional deliverables that meet our business’ needs while supporting and enabling relevant performance goals.
A successful candidate shall be a big thinker who is highly analytical and customer focused with a strong track record of delivering product innovation.
Key responsibilities of the role include :
Along with responsible business teams, defining the product offering, aligning the tech and business deliverables with internal software teams, driving adoption and implementation, and presenting strategic business cases and execution strategy to the leadership team and other critical stakeholders
Partnering with the global technology teams and ensuring product delivery
Implementing the required governance mechanism via KPI and metrics, along with ad hoc reporting and analytical deep-dives
Master’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience
Product Owner or Scrum Master certification, and at least five years of applicable experience
Experience working with large cross-functional teams
Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills, being able to diagnose root cause of issues
Ability to find practical and simple solutions to complicated problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality
Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence stakeholders with different priorities and different functions including but not limited to technology, legal and finance
Entrepreneurial, self-sufficient and able to operate in a fluid, ambiguous environment
Ability to communicate across all levels of management
Excellent verbal and written skills in English (other European languages are a plus)
Prior experience managing a product, owning a P&L and project management in relevant industries
Understanding of financial calculation methodologies and support mechanisms, including accounting, auditing, and basic tax requirements
Experience working in the transportation, supply chain or related industries
