C.A based in Luxembourg. Fluency in French and English is required.
Amazon Payments enables Amazon customers to use the payment methods stored in their Amazon account to pay for goods and services on websites and mobile applications that accept Amazon Payments.
This role will involve facilitating sales deals and relationships with strategic and large merchants across Europe as well as channel partners including payment service providers, service integrators and e-commerce providers.
The right candidate has continuously exceeded sales targets and brings successful experience in business development, account management, a keen interest in e-commerce customer experience, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
The candidate must also be a strong leader who can articulate recommendations effectively and drive consensus.
Scope and responsibility :
Drive incremental revenue, transaction payments volume as well as buyer and merchant awareness through merchant acquisitions under Luxembourgish leadership guidance in a defined territory or industry vertical.
Identifying, attracting and converting new merchants to work with Amazon Pay.
Develop and execute sales activities which create significant value to merchant’s business and to Amazon customers
Taking the lead in strategic projects that will drive business growth and shape the future of Amazon Pay.
Operate in a fast-moving and often ambiguous environment you will have full responsibility of your performance and achieving your objectives.
Develop a deep understanding of other Amazon products and services such as Selling on Amazon, Fulfillment by Amazon, Amazon Media Group, Amazon App Store and Amazon Web Services and leverage that understanding to create new opportunities.
Partner closely with the internal development team to contribute to the direction of the product offerings; be responsible for voice of the merchant.
Work cross-team to collaborate in the creation of custom programs that will help drive adoption of large merchants / retailers.
Be accountable for auditing, measuring, and reporting on key inputs and outputs in Salesforce and other internal reporting systems.
Prepare and give business analysis to the senior management team for their approval regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new customers.
Experience in SaaS and web site technology is advantageous.
