A great opportunity for a Fund Administration all rounder to cover a standalone role for a year and work with a large and independent in-house management company

Your Team :

A small specialised oversight team, centralised in Luxembourgworking with and supported by team colleagues in other EMEA locations.

Your Role :

As a Fund Administration Oversight Officer, you are responsible for the supervision and oversight of the Fund Administration (FA) and related services delegated to the Central Administration Agent appointed for a range of Luxembourg domiciled Alternative Investments Funds.

You will be also responsible for :

  • Managing the relationship and supervising the activities of the appointed central administration agent / third party provider (TPA) to the funds
  • On behalf of the management company : Leading all aspects and coordinating the funds audit, including setting and monitoring Audit timetable, internal review of financial documents, liaison with fund auditors and attendance at board approval meetingsOverseeing of the fund valuation policy
  • Maintaining the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the TPA, monitoring services and important metrics to SLA and coordinating and attend local and global service review meetings with the TPA ensuring service quality issues are addressed.
  • Performing ongoing due diligence on the TPA including site visits and risk assessments
  • Reviewing and approving fund budgets, monitoring of total expense ratios (TER) and approval of fund expenses.
  • Calculating of fund transaction charges for European MiFID Template (EMT)
  • Reviewing and approving of fund distribution calculations
  • Coordinating of FA product development, leading or assisting in implementation of business or legislation change driven projects between the TPA and Invesco
  • Working closely with the investment manager of the funds and collaborating closely with other Invesco units (legal, compliance, marketing, pricing, risk) that provide services to the funds
  • The skills and experience you’ll bring You will have :

  • Proven fund accounting experience including exposure to both NAVs, and
  • Financial Statements. Experience of bank loans is an advantage
  • Experience in monitoring and supervising system processes and service standards
  • Good understanding of UCITs or FCP structures
  • Know-how of handling Service Providers and TPAs is a plus
  • 3rd level qualification or relevant professional qualification
  • You have the ability to :

  • Influence and build relationships on all levels, both internally and externally
  • Work with MS Office 2010 : World / EXCEL / PowerPoint
  • Communicate in English fluently is a must, additional languages as French would be an advantage
