We are looking for a Dangerous Goods Project Manager to join our team.
This position is located in our EU headquarters in Luxembourg.
The Dangerous Goods Project Manager will be working with the Dangerous Goods team to ensure Dangerous Goods meet applicable European regulatory requirements, to improve existing processes, to expand the current capacity as well as to develop and launch ambitious projects and new functionalities.
Manage internal stakeholder engagement through existing mechanisms
Lead the Dangerous Goods capacity expansion by launching additional Dangerous Goods space in Fulfillment Centers across Europe
Create, implement and improve safe and compliant processes that scale by leveraging technology to keep pace with Amazon’s business growth and support customer experience tenets
Actively seek cross-regional coordination opportunities that improve safety, efficiency and customer selection
Support country operational launches
Expand the existing transportation program to European destinations
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, transportation, logistics or equivalent
Experience in a program or project management role
Track record of project deliverables where improvement is measurable
Experience driving process improvement with technology
Accomplished range of skills from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team, including adherence to core values and dynamic corporate culture
Exceptional organizational skills, ability to work independently and autonomously
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
Ability to travel internationally
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English, both oral and verbal
Preferred qualifications :
Knowledge of data warehouse and SQL is a strong plus
Knowledge of French, German, Spanish and / or Italian a strong asset
In-depth knowledge and practical skills in applying Lean Six Sigma (LSS) philosophy and methodology.
