Are you looking for a challenging and exciting opportunity in business-development? Do you have prior experience delivering against targets in a fast-paced, dynamic environment?

Amazon, one of the world’s leaders in e-commerce, is expanding its Third-Party Marketplace business, looking for a smart Business Development Manager (Account & Program Management) to join its Third-Party Marketplace support team, based in Luxembourg.

The role is spearheading the launch of a new service in EU, where you will focus on both on-boarding and developing the performance of new Selling Partners, and on program management across EU countries.

This role has a high visibility in the organization, as it will coordinate the program performance across Luxembourg, EU teams and US central team.

Your Responsibilities :

1. Deliver on your business development targets :

a. Onboarding New Selling Partners to the new service program you will be responsible of.

b. Maximizing the success of your Selling partners on Amazon by account management : providing data-driven insights, tailored recommendations

c. Help Key Accounts learn and master Amazon services, tools and systems, so they can be more effective in managing and building their Amazon business

d. Business analysis, tracking and reporting to bring visibility of the business status and opportunities.

2. Develop the new service program across EU :

a. Coordinate and drive the performance of the new service program across the EU countries. Define and run the relevant mechanisms to keep a high-performance

b. Own the EU program Standard Operating Procedures, build and run improvements on the program features or ways of working based on Customer, Selling Partner and account managers’ Feedback

c. Prepare forward-planning for the EU program, and drive alignment across EU & US partners.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluent in English.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience. Proven track record of success in a targets-driven environment
  • University Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related careers
  • Skilled in phone-based business development with strong objection-handling skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade, convince and explain complex concepts in a simple manner.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with the experience of working with wide range of people at all decision-making levels.
  • Autonomous and self-driven
  • Interested in new technologies, capable internet user. Ready to learn of programs such as SQL.
  • Analytical with the ability to apply strong Excel skills.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluency in German, French / Italian / Spanish would be a further advantage
  • Experience on consulting, business development / sales would be preferred
  • Experience with data analytics, either in a professional or academic capacity.
  • Experience in Internet, e-commerce and retail companies is preferable.
  • SQL skills.
  • Process improvement knowledge.
