About the Role :

Responsible for the Procurement functional development, acting as the guardian of way of working, deploying best practices across the function, ensuring a standardized approach is taken across.

Ensures the required level of standardization and simplification within all relevant processes (including system innovation, tools / platforms evolution required for the function to excel).

Act as the connection amongst the various Procurement departments (including Responsible Sourcing).

Define strategies for the Source to Pay program implementation, from the proposed operating model through the Capabilities evolution and overall function reporting.

Develop a single Source to Pay policy and support the creation of the relevant Group Operating Standards for the different spend categories departments.

Define an overall Supplier Management approach, ensuring the appropriated level of strategic collaboration and supplier development is in place.

Support the developing of the needed functional training agenda, in alignment with the corporate training area within the Group.

Main Responsibilities :

Lead Procurement Development :

  • Lead the procurement functional development with highest standards and ensure culture of excellence.. This includes building good relations and a work-favourable atmosphere, generating energy, enthusiasm and motivation and developing collaborators, while enhancing their self-fulfilment at work.
  • Foster innovative way of working in Procurement :

  • Harnessing creativity and innovation for standardized and simplified way of working, using new technologies and new channels to ensure a continuous improvement agenda.
  • Improve processes using benchmark and innovation.
  • Develop the Supplier Management process :

  • Lead the developing of a collaborative / strategic partnership program and alliances with suppliers, defining its scope, governance and objectives.
  • Build organisation budget and plan (incl people, KPI, resources, organisation, tools / systems) :
  • Define framework for annual organisation budget and resources planning (including people, individual KPI, resources, organisation, tools / systems) to support strategies.
  • It frequently implies annual and long-term budgets and plans

  • Define KPIs and reporting tools for the measurement and monitoring in the long term of the performance of the suppliers to be implemented across the different Procurement department.
  • Source to Pay Program :

  • Define the strategies for the implementation of a comprehensive program, encompassing the operating model, way of working, performance reporting (dashboard), capabilities evolution and needed technical skills improvement.
  • Ensure the technology strategy is well aligned to the overall program architecture.

    People Management :

  • Attract, hire and retain talents. According to people plans, advertise positions internally and externally to attract a diversity of talents that have the required potential or experience to best fill the jobs now and in the future.
  • Retain people by proper communication, involvement and empowerment, performing assessment and career planning, recognizing individuals and teams and caring for employee wellbeing.

    This includes building good relations and a work-favourable atmosphere, generating energy, enthusiasm and motivation enhancing their self-fulfilment at work.

    Who we are looking for :

    Profile :

  • Master's Degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, Informational Technology or other related fields;
  • At least 6-8 Years of proven experience in Project Management;
  • At least 6-8 years of proven experience in People Management
  • Previous experience in Procurement is a plus
  • Team working orientation;
  • Relationship Management across different levels;
  • Effective written communication, presentation & public speaking skills;
  • Influencing skills;
  • Problem solving & performance driven;
  • International mindset;
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to excellence with a result-oriented approach;
  • A fast learner who rapidly moves up the learning curve and wants to continue to take over new responsibilities .
  • IT Skills :

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • SAP knowledge would be considered a plus;
  • Language Skills :

  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English;
  • Any other European language (i.e. Italian and / or French) will be considered an asset.
