The Outsourcing unit supports the business segments in their duties with regards to services and processes outsourced by Clearstream entities and secures a harmonized first line of defence approach across the different business owners within the area of its responsibility.
This includes the set-up of standards with respect to contractual service formulations and KPIs. The first line of defence control and monitoring function covers as well the adequate and bundled reports to the Executive Management and the control functions, including the Outsourcing Coordinator, Risk Management and Internal Audit.
Your main responsibilities will cover will be the support of the business owners in outsourced services / processes, and the coordination activities around internal and external audit findings of the entities in scope.
You will assume responsibility for the inventory of such audit findings, track their timely closure and support their owners with your good understanding of business processes and applicable regulation.
Tasks / responsibilities
Support the definition and documentation of measurable performance indicators
Review and validate performance reports and prepare their presentation to the respective boards
Support outsourcing coordinators in fulfilling the regular tasks
Establish and maintain adequate procedures and workflows
Interact closely with the relevant Clearstream segments, Group Regulatory Outsourcing Management, Internal Audit and Compliance
Provide a pro-active contribution to ensure team targets and objectives are being achieved within required deadlines
Assist in project work where required
Qualifications / required skills
University degree in economics, financial or business management
Experience in process and / or outsourcing management
Excellent understanding of post-trade business as well as Clearstreams business model and processes
Good understanding of applicable banking regulation is an asset
Analytical skills, critical mind set and ability to solve complex problems
Good communication skills and ability / willingness to build network
Fluent written and oral English language skills. Knowledge of an additional language (e.g. German / French) would be seen as an advantage
General office productivity tools proficiency expected (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
