Your Team

You will be part of our Fund Accounting Private Market team, in our well established Luxembourg office.

Your Role

As a Fund Accounting Oversight / Controller,you will be responsible for the financial reporting and oversight of assigned credit or private equity portfolios and / or Fund products.

You will be responsible for :

  • Developing and overseeing valuation frameworks for private market / private debt strategies
  • Acting as a subject matter expert concerning all valuation matters that effect the relevant strategies within private markets assigned to you.
  • Responsible for overseeing external administrators performing accounting and reporting on credit, mezzanine debt, and other PM strategies, including set up and accounting
  • Financial statements
  • Staying apprised of issues affecting fund accounting including all GAAP technical matters and ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Cash management and expense control
  • Loan funding
  • Capital calls and distributions
  • Management and monitoring of the service providers
  • Provide support to the client relationship managers and investment team
  • The skills and experience you’ll bring

    You will :

  • Have extensive experience with private market valuation models, financial models and cash flow analysis.
  • Extensive related accounting experience.
  • Big 4 / public accounting background preferred, Manager level or higher.
  • Big 4 and credit industry combination profiles will be strongly considered.
  • Extensive supervisory experience with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage a staff of qualified accountants.
  • IFRS and Lux GAAP standards.
  • Knowledge of alternative investments and in particular debt fund strategies and products.
  • Experience in valuation techniques for unlisted securities.
  • Bachelors or masters degree in accounting / finance.
  • CPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred
