We are the only production plant of Central Glas automotive business in Europe with about 600 employees. We have an immediate opening for a : Quality Engineer - (M / F / D) The Quality Engineer (QE) works with and develops relationships with customers and the manufacturing facility to understand and ensure product quality meets customer requirements / expectations.
Typically, responsible for one or more customers QE will lead the customer processes, including part launch, ongoing reporting and problem resolution.
QE may fill in for the Quality Manager’s absences and will need to understand the government standards and requirements for product compliance.
QE is a strong partner for Program Management during Development / APQP process. Profile : · Bachelor degree in Engineering or Quality Management · At least 3 years’ experience as a quality engineer in an industrial environment, ideally within the glass industry · Fluent in French and English, German is an asset · Strong understanding of best practice quality tools · Strong problem solver · Perfect analytical skills and target oriented approach · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Stress resistant · PDCA, 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, fault tree analysis, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, general quality methods · Six Sigma belt preferred · Willingness to travel Roles / Responsibilities : · Interface management between production and customer quality · Implementation of new product or product changes through advanced engineering analysis and problem solving · Monitor current procedures to ensure the production of quality product in accordance with customer quality requirements / expectations · Work with tools for analysis / continuous improvement · During the development phase ensure that the defined quality characteristics are respected and controlled · Manage the customer claims and ensure that all defined actions are implemented and are efficient and effective · Follow up on non-conformities generated in an audit and ensure that actions are taken and implemented · Ensure that all relevant stakeholders are informed about customer claims as soon as possible while making sure that all needed information are present · Ensure working resident environment at customer · Ensure sufficient collaboration with all relevant departments to improve the quality of our products The selected candidates will be offered : · A challenging opportunity to progress within a growing company · A pleasant working climate, favoring autonomy and personal initiative · Increasing amounts of responsibility, in relation to experience and capability · An attractive salary package, commensurate to achievements Interested?
