To be responsible for the accounting and day-to-day administration of a portfolio of Luxembourg companies under the supervision of a senior accountant :

  • Managing day to day accounting entries for a dedicated clients portfolio
  • Preparing financial statements and periodical reportings under LuxGAAP’s
  • Preparing tax and VAT returns
  • Maintaining contact with banks, Luxembourg authorities, and external providers
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assisting with the setting up and administration of holding companies
  • Assisting with the organization of board meetings and shareholders meetings
  • Preparing basic legal documents (minutes of the annual shareholders meetings and board meetings)
  • Following-up the day-to-day operations and client requests


  • Closely monitor the cash collection made by the corporate officers for the unpaid invoices
  • Properly complete your time sheet
  • Client

  • Know who are your main clients’ contacts and show interest in their structure
  • Communicate adequately with the clients (professionalism)
  • Proactively handle client requests
  • Meet client deadlines
  • Operations

  • Understand the services proposed by Ocorian
  • Be compliant with internal procedures and best practices
  • Apply internal risk management procedures (ie KYC / AML)
  • Adhere to a confidentiality culture
  • Fluently speak / write English
  • Use adequately MS Office & accounting software
  • Have standard accounting / legal / corporate tax / VAT skills / knowledge
  • Proactively handle internal requests
  • Stick to your planning of tasks and meet internal deadlines
  • Give regular feedback on the file progression to the senior accountant
  • Raise right questions regarding the management of recurring projects in order to gain progressively more autonomy
  • Produce and provide the senior accountant high-quality documents and ensure that the files are well organised
  • Remain up to date with laws and regulations governing recurring activities based on available information (smart lunch, internal communication, trainings, )
  • Share information within the team and suggest solutions to problems
