The Role

Our Inside Sales team is expanding! If you would like to join a dynamic and successful team based at our PolyOne European Headquarters in Luxembourg, managing assigned sales accounts across all our businesses, providing value and an excellent service to a select group of customers then we look forward to hearing from you.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the sales team to maintain and grow sales territory.
  • Increase business by identifying new accounts.
  • Approach the sales process with a high degree of professionalism and effectiveness by successful utilization of customer centric selling skills and tools, such as use of scorecards, business reviews, cross selling, and effective CRM system management.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to specific selling activities. These include, but are not limited to, solutions including appropriate product grades to be offered for specific applications and markets;
  • appropriate use of standard product grades versus a custom compounded product and; competitive pricing of products.

  • Identify room of opportunities : This includes independent assessment of a customer's needs and the presence of competitive pressures.
  • As an individual and sales team member, contributes to the company's planning of both long- and short-term business objectives.
  • This will include periodic and annual sales forecasts, as well as the setting of sales goals

    Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Desired)
  • 2+ years sales experience in business to business or customer related environment.
  • Critical thinking skills in translating customer needs into solutions
  • Technical aptitude
  • Professional presence, including excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and team player
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency with Office suite, SAP or SalesForce.Com experience preferred
  • Broad knowledge of solutions, materials and processing
  • High negotiation skills, not afraid of cold calling and prospecting skills
  • Customer Centric Selling Skills
  • German
  • Other languages an advantage
