Amazon's WW Marketing and Prime team is seeking an experienced HR leader in the EU (Luxembourg) to partner closely with executive-

level business leaders on organizational and talent priorities that will lead to business impact. This individual must have the ability to dive deep into business priorities to help senior leaders evolve organizational design and optimize the use of talent at all levels of the organization.

He / she must also have high judgment to coach senior leaders on how to maximize leadership effectiveness and business performance.

This HR leader will also be accountable for driving core people priorities that are critical to the organization’s health, such as employee engagement, maintaining a diverse and inclusive workforce, top talent retention, and raising the performance bar all while driving strong business ownership.

This requires the ability to dive deep into data to develop insights, connect these insights with qualitative data, and develop and implement high-

impact, innovative recommendations. This individual will also drive core people processes such as managing Talent Reviews, succession planning, the annual performance and compensation process, and manager effectiveness.

As part of the core business role, this HR leader will have the opportunity to work with diverse talent across product, technical, marketing, and creative functions.

In addition, this role will act as the local HR lead for Operations Tech teams across the EU, acting as a key connectivity point between employees and local HR support when needed.

This additional scope will provide great exposure to some of Amazon’s most innovative businesses, as well as the opportunity to partner closely with EU HR leadership.

  • 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist leadership role, or equivalent experience such as organizational strategy consulting
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate HR and business strategies
  • Proven ability to surface insights, root cause issues, and drive action plans by drawing on a diverse toolkit of people insight, data analysis, and strategic thinking skills
  • Experience driving organizational change initiatives, ideally in a global setting
  • Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization, including senior leaders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document writing and presentation skills
  • Resilience and ability to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high level of energy and sense of humor
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Industrial Organization or Human Resources
  • Strong analytical and data skills
