Responsibilities

The Risk initiatives Team is part of our Risk Management Direction.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to support Risk Management (RM hereafter) in successfully managing its various regulatory and enhancement projects.

Main tasks :

Responsibilities include :

  • being the primary owner and the first point of contact for RM for a portfolio of regulatory and enhancement projects;
  • identifying, understanding and qualifying the impacts of regulatory changes on RM;
  • helping identifying and qualifying RM processes enhancement opportunities;
  • participating in functional requirements analysis and drafting.
  • Budget management and resources control
  • being able to activate the right expertise within RM teams on specific issues;
  • ensuring solution design and delivery fits RM requirements and processes;
  • ensuring adequate communication within RM and with the other projects stakeholders such as 3PM and IT.
  • Must Have Requirements

    Profile :

  • at least 10 years of higher education preferably in economics, management or finance
  • Phd in mathematics / statistics , Finance or economy / management, FRM certification (GARP) should be a strong advantage
  • 10+ years of professional experience into the Banking sector (European GSIB is more than welcome), project management experience with track record of having led complex, transversal projects with a particular focus on regulatory and / or risk projects
  • holding an adequate combination of :
  • knowledge of the banking environment, preferably with knowledge and interest for risk and regulatory matters;
  • knowledge of the IT banking environment, preferably with knowledge of the system IT architecture;
  • project management skills, preferably with proven past experiences;
  • knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel;
  • Fluent (reading, writing, speaking) in French and English, any other language constituting an advantage
  • strong communications skills, both written and spoken;
  • relevant experiences in managing stakeholder groups and balancing diplomacy and tact with assertiveness;
  • courageous and decisive, prioritizes effectively, maintains a clear focus and sees action through to delivery;
