The Depositary Manager is responsible for the overall depositary client relationship for a portfolio of clients comprising illiquid Alternative Investment fund ranges across multiple fund structures and asset types.

Duties and Responsibilities :

1) Ensure strong understanding of the Clients and their specificities

2) Ensure proper implementation of the depositary oversight programmes for assigned client and their adherence to the applicable regulations, and internal standards.

  • 3) Manage the relationships with clients in relation with all depositary services related aspects and guarantee clent satisfaction by being the trusted and dedicated point of contact ;
  • participate in client on-boarding and new fund set up projects; prepare reports to the attention of the AIFM senior management and Board of Directors and participate to meetings whenever appropriate

  • 4) Actively participate and contribute to, or lead Depositary EMEA projects, contributing with specific expertise and information on the Luxembourg market or regulations;
  • 5) Liaise with third party administrators, external auditors when required;
  • 6) Follow and apply internal policies and procedures; actively participate in their maintainance and enhancements whenever appropriat

    Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years profesional experience in Luxembourg, ideally within Depositary Services, with specific exposure to Alternative Investment Funds and complex structures
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Fluent in English ; German would be considered as an asset
  • Experience in managing a small team, and notably capacity to train and support development of more junior people
  • Capacity to work in teams across multiple regions and countries enabling a one-team culture and positive working environment
  • Interest in participating in the design and implementation of new processes to adapt to new standards or improve efficiency
  • Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
  • Intermediate / Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio and PowerPoint as well as Tableau or similar tools
