On behalf of our client, an investment management company in Luxembourg, we are hiring a Associate Risk Controller Operational Risk (m / w / d) .
Your responsibilities : Support AIF risk management reporting and AIFM in Europe Classify risks at all management fund companies Support the due diligence initial / ongoing Assure the compliance with regulatory and legal standards in the risk management field Implement and classify the AIFM risk management framework and policies.
Control of the environment of new and established products and activities.
Work with the ORM in order to identify and evaluate operational business risks and also develop processes to ensure compliance, protect the brand Establish and maintain relationships with Functional Leaders, as well as the larger Risk Management community, Internal Audit, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Finance staff Backing management with the audit process, including preparing and organizing Risk and Control Self Assessments, documenting key risks and controls, developing action plans and providing effective challenge to the adequacy of controls Research, evaluate, and / or resolve risk issues, including conducting control reviews or gap analyses for existing processes Report and analyzing operational risk events, identifying root causes of control breakdowns and assisting business with documenting and closing remediation plans Assist with Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), Insurance Risk Management, Records Management, and Business Continuity processes as needed Your profile : 3 to 5 relevant years in risk management, audit or in a similar function within the institutional asset management business or consulting firm Real estate investment experience would be an asset Relevant business experience in Risk Management or / and Financial Services with a proven track record influencing processes and controls Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Risk, Finance Economics or Accounting Very good knowledge of AIFMD and CSSF regulatory requirements Strong analytical skills with a particular attention to detail Strong writing and communications skills Knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills required and Visio a plus If you are interested in this position and meet the job requirements of our client, please forward your CV + salary expectations to jobs.lu.
