AM / AI Regulatory & Risk Consulting Core activities :
Regulatory & Risk solutions for ManCo / AIFMs
Mitigation of ManCo / AIFM regulatory risk exposure for all facets of the activities
Assistance in regulatory driven transformation agendas
As a Senior Manager you will :
Assist our clients in their regulatory implementation and reviews. This regulatory assistance will cover all facets of the operations of a ManCo / AIFM internal controls (risk management, compliance, valuation), portfolio management, management information systems, delegates oversight etc.
Accompany our clients in their regulatory driven transformation initiatives AIFM creation and licensing, AIFM License extension, MiFID Top up, This activity will cover the following 3 key pillars : Target operating model design, Approval process, Operationalization
Have a holistic understanding of the operations of a ManCo / AIFM allowing you to draw the line between regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
You are aware of the areas of regulatory scrutiny and understand pain points of market players.
Have a business driven and agile mindset that enables you to understand a client issue, conceptualize an approach and orchestrate a roadmap that includes managing a team, producing a deliverable, project management and client relationship management.
Accordingly, you are able to identify opportunities for further assistance.
You are a recognized subject matter expert in ManCo / AIFM arrangements participation to industry bodies (LPEA, ALFI). You have created a network of industry professionals you can reach out to for business development purposes or market insights.
You are commercially minded and are comfortable taking a role in business development / visibility campaigns. You will lead and supervise the production of proposals and other client presentation materials.
You will supervise all facets of client engagements, coach and mentor junior colleagues (be a role model ). You will ensure client satisfaction by providing quality reviews and monitoring engagement economics.
The perfect candidate :
Master’s degree in, Economics, Finance, Management or similar fields
Have 7-10 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk management or operations ideally at a consulting firm or a ManCo / AIFM
You embrace the consulting mindset and fast-paced work environment. You are an orchestrator and have the ability to draw a roadmap towards success
A decent exposure to AIFM operations and alternative investments is a plus
You possess a strong command of fundamental regulatory topics UCITS, AIFMD, CSSF 18 / 698 ;
You have strong analytical, project management and problem-solving skills
You have the necessary soft skills to build relationships with clients and to develop team ;
Strong command of Microsoft Office tools (esp. Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
You are a team player and are comfortable in client facing situations.
Fluent in English; French and / or German would be considered as a strong asset.
